Preschool Prayer

Let me be glad today, Lord, for mom and dad, for toys and clothes, for giggles and tears.  Let me be glad today, Lord!

Look What We've Learned

Even though we had a short week, we've been very busy finishing up our November projects. Our class continues to talk about being Thankful. We read the Giving. We have added colorful turkeys made with brown paper and tissue paper to our fence. This was a great project to help increase fine motor strength. We also made owls with paper feathers. We talked about how owls are similar to bats and how they are different! The children also made some corn stalks and we read The First Thanksgiving. We learned that the Pilgrims came to America on a ship, not a plane and how the Native Americans helped us learn new things in America. Finally we read the story Fall Is Here! We talked about the season of Fall and walked around the campus looking for signs of Fall!
