Biography:

I was born in New York City, New York.  I am married to Dan Hurley, who works at Certainteed, and we have 3 children (Mary Kate, who is at Columbia University now;  Beth, who is at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro;  and Gina, who just graduated from Bishop McGuinness, and is joining her sister at UNC-G.)  All three are graduates of St. Leo’s!  I have a dog named Allie (who, alas, did not attend St. Leo’s, but likes to visit from time to time).

College of William and Mary (B.A., major in French)

Fordham University (M.A. French)

Babcock School, Wake Forest University (MBA Finance and Accounting)

University of North Carolina at Greensboro (Master of Library and Information Science)

I am certified by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction in Library and in French (K-12), and am also a North Carolina certified public librarian.

Hobbies:

Reading is my favorite activity.  I also enjoy woodworking and gardening, and I love to play the guitar.  I’m a member of the Piedmont Guitar Orchestra.
