Welcome to the
2007/2008 school year. I hope this will be a good year for all Middle
School students and parents. This is my 22nd year teaching at St. Leo
School, and I am happy to be here. As most of you know, I teach social
studies, English, literature, and religion to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
I received a B.A. degree in history from St. Mary’s College in South
Bend, Indiana, and also did postgraduate work at Western Connecticut
State University. I am certified to teach social studies, history, and
English by the state of North Carolina. |

Homework Policy: Homework is assigned to reinforce and review material that has been covered in class. Students are expected to complete homework and bring it to class with them. The web page is intended to serve as a guide for parents and students. Upcoming tests will be posted regularly, but it is the responsibility of students to copy daily homework assignments from the homework board in the classroom. Points will be deducted for each missing homework assignment. As homework is reviewed and corrected in class, it cannot be made up.
