Kindergarten

The students are starting to work with a math web site www.aaamath.com This site works with positions as well as counting.

1st Grade

The students are starting to work with a web site www.aaamath.com to review addition facts.

2nd Grade

The students are starting to work on their math skills with some new interactive sites.

3rd Grade

The students are working on www.aaamath.com in regards to double digit subtraction and other interactive math sites.

4th Grade

The students will be starting a power point project soon.  If they could bring in a picture of their family that would be great.

5th Grade

The students are working on a project about water conservation and river basins in North Carolina.  The students are going to start a power point project about an animal or plant that lives in one of the NC river basins.  They can use this web site for information:  http://www.ee.enr.state.nc.us/public/ecoaddress/riverbasins/riverbasinmapinteractive.htm

6th Grade

The students are building their skills on the keyboard program and have done a good job so far.  A new web site to keep you practicing through the holidays:  http://www.bbc.co.uk/schools/typing/

7th Grade The students will start learning the program Excel and what you can do in Excel.

8th Grade

                                                   The 8th grade is working on databases.  Terminology, filtering, sorting, and building.

                                                   The students will start reviewing their terminology knowledge for the technology

For any 8th grader that would like to participate in the Model UN program at Bishop McGuinness High School it will be on February 3rd and the cost is $10.
