Kindergarten Kritters

Dear Kindergarten Parents,

This note is to give you a little advance information for what your child will need in the classroom.  As you can see, some items need to be purchased through school.  You will be notified of the prices in a letter which you will receive in early August.

*Items that must be purchased through school.

            * 1.      Two copybooks

            * 2.      Five primary pencils

            * 3.      Pencil case (No school boxes)

            * 4.      Glue - liquid glue stick

            * 5.      Children's Rosary and Case

            * 6.      Crayons

            * 7.      Storybook Journal

               8.      Fiskar Scissors

               9.      Book bag - this must be large enough to hold your child's lunch box,

                        traveling folder, and perhaps a sweater or jacket.  NO ROLLING BOOK BAGS.

              10.     One sturdy pocket folder - to be used as a traveling folder (VERY

                        IMPORTANT).  Plastic kind is the best.

              11.     One coloring book - this will stay at school to be used on rainy days.

              12.     Three boxes of Kleenex - to be donated to the Kindergarten for sniffles, etc.

              13.     Two boxes of drinking straws.

              14.     One mat for nap time during the first half of the year (three or four way fold only).

              15.     One box of hand wipes

              16.     2 containers of Lysol wipes or Clorox wipes

            Please print your child's full name and grade on books, clothing, (especially, sweaters and jackets), gym items, lunch boxes, school bags, etc., to prevent any missing items.  Also, please label each individual crayon as the "floor monster" gobbles them up very quickly.

            It is also required that your child’s immunizations be current before school starts.  Please contact the school office, 748-8252, if you have questions regarding this.
