Is St. Leo Catholic School just for Catholics?
- No, St. Leo Catholic School is for children of all faiths and backgrounds. Our mission at St. Leo Catholic School is to educate the whole child within the framework of Gospel values and Catholic traditions in order to develop responsible citizens of our nation and of our world.
When does St. Leo Catholic School start accepting applications?
- We accept applications on a rolling basis. We accept students for immediate enrollment based on availability within the class for which students apply. If you are applying for the following school year, we send acceptance notifications in January/Early February.
Is tuition assistance available?
St. Leo Catholic School meets the financial needs of families through affordable tuition rates and a tuition assistance program. We work with FACTS Management, a third party Financial Aid Assessment company, to assess applications to ensure we are providing aid to families in need. The online application opens January 1st and applications are accepted through March 15th.
We also accept the NCSEAA Opportunity Scholarships provided through the state of North Carolina. See our Financial Aid section for more information on each.
Is there a discount offered if I am an active member of a Catholic Church?
- Yes, Catholic parishes provide a subsidy for their parishioners who attend St. Leo Catholic School. We call this the "Subsidized Tuition Rate" on our tuition schedule. To qualify, annually families submit a Parish Subsidy Voucher signed by their Pastor.
Is there a multi-child discount?
- Yes, we offer multi-child discounts on the subsidized tuition rates. To qualify, families need to have a Parish Participation Voucher signed by their parish pastor. Specifics are available on our Tuition Schedule.
