Mrs. Christina Hackl

I come from Long Island, NY where I lived for 25 years. I moved to Kernersville, NC with my husband, in 2001. I have 2 boys who keep me very busy.

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Professional and Liberal Studies from Dowling College, NY. I started out teaching computers to adults at a business school in NY in 1998. After moving to North Carolina, I started my family and took time away from teaching. In 2008, I started working with preschool aged children at a women's bible study group where I watched over and taught bible stories to the mothers little ones. I loved teaching the children, however I missed teaching computers so I then taught at a Christian school in 2010. I taught computers to Pre-K through 8th graders. After this school closed, I came over to St. Leo Catholic School in 2015. I have always wanted to be a teacher and believe that God has given me this gift. I'm truly blessed to be able to work with so many different ages and share my knowledge and love of computers with each student.

I like to bring humor to the classroom so each student will have fun while learning. Every student learns differently so I try to teach with Auditory, Visual, and Tactile styles for most lessons so all students can learn and be engaged. My favorite bible verse is "I can do all things, through Christ, who strengthens me" from Philippians 4:13. I feel like this verse can be applied to all areas of life.
