¡Hola! My name is Luci Pestana, and I'm enjoying my fourth year of teaching PS-8 Spanish at St. Leo Catholic School. I'm originally from Atlanta, Georgia, but lived in Miami for 12 years before landing in North Carolina. During that time I earned a Bachelors of Music Degree in Piano Performance and a Minor in Italian from the University of Miami. I also expanded my love of the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures, which led to my earning licensure in the subject areas of K-8 Romance Languages and Music. I love to utilize my background in the arts to enhance our language classes, and hope to never stop learning for and from my students! In my free time, I love dancing, playing music with my sons, Ivo and Luca, and cuddling with our very fluffy dog (Penny) and cat (Coco). ¡Hasta pronto!
