Ms. Alexandra Randall

I  joined St. Leo as the Librarian/Information Literacy Teacher last year and already feel right at home among such welcoming and wonderful students and faculty.  I am a recent graduate of UNC-Greensboro where I earned an MLIS (Master’s in Library & Information Studies). I also have a B.A. in Studio Art from Salem College.

I was born in North Carolina but, as I was growing up, I moved 14 times -living in 8 different southeastern states before returning to NC and settling in Winston-Salem near much of my family. I have a son, James, who is in 7th grade this year  at Paisley and we have 3 cats (all rescued).

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my son or a friend, playing the bass guitar, going to musical performances and, of course, reading a great book!

My goal for students is that they gain essential skills to be confident, independent users of information and are prepared for global citizenship. At the heart of it all, it is my hope that they remain curious -that they care about and enjoy reading and lifelong learning.
