Cantors

St. Leo Catholic School offers a Cantor program for students in Grades 5-8 Grade. The Cantor program is for those students who wish to lead the school in worship. A meeting with Mr. Brock, our Music Teacher, is required to see if students are vocally ready for this important responsibility. All interested students are required to go through a training module which includes observing cantors leading in worship, as well as, training with an experienced cantor to ensure they are prepared to lead the music at Mass. Cantors are expected to also participate in Choir. Being a Cantor is an excellent opportunity to worship God while leading the school at Mass using his/her vocal talents.
