Run Leo

In consultation with Father Cook and area physicians, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Run Leo 2020 out of an abundance of caution.  We recognize what a wonderful community event the race is and are cognizant of the hundred of hours of work that has gone into preparations.  Clearly, however, the health and safety of our children, our families and our guests must be our first priority.

If you would like your registration refunded, we would be happy to do so. However, we ask that you consider allowing us to keep the fee as a donation to a non-profit organization. The funds from this race are used for valuable school programs every year.

Thank you for your continued support and we hope to see you again in 2021!

St. Leo Catholic School holds an annual race through the Buena Vista neighborhood of Winston-Salem as a fundraiser for the school. The weekend kicks off with packet pickup and a pasta dinner on Friday night. The first race, the Fun Run starts off the day on Saturday, followed by the 5K and then the 10K. This is a great school and community event with many runners dressed in their finest St. Patrick's themed attire.

Our 24th Annual Run Leo Road Race was a huge success thanks to all of our runners and sponsors.  A special thank you to David Daggett, of Daggett Shuler Law, for emceeing the race. We had 850+ runners across all our races--Fun Run, 5K, 10K and "the Beast" (for those runners who like an extra challenge and tackled both the 5K and 10K). We want to thank our generous sponsors for supporting the 24th Annual Run Leo Road Race. Please consider supporting them.
