Student Clubs & Activities

At St. Leo Catholic School, we believe in nurturing the whole child - spiritually, academically, and socially. Our diverse selection of after-school and in-school clubs gives students opportunities to explore new interests, develop important skills, and grow as leaders.

Altar Servers
Open to students who have received First Holy Communion, Altar Servers assist priests during school and parish Masses and other liturgical events. Training is provided, and students learn responsibility, reverence, and service.

Cantors & Choir
Cantors: Selected students lead sung portions of the Mass, including Psalms and responses. Choir: Students in grades 4–8 (or grades 3–8, depending on year) meet weekly to perform during school liturgies, concerts, and special parish events.

Library Aides
Organized and helpful students assist in the school library—shelving books, organizing materials, and supporting their peers and the librarian.

MathCounts
For students passionate about math, our MathCounts club engages them in problem-solving, competition preparation, and collaborative learning in a fun, supportive environment.

Model UN
Middle-school students representing St. Leo attends a regional Model United Nations conference at Bishop McGuinness High School, researching global issues, drafting resolutions, and engaging in formal debate.

We are proud to offer these experiences to students in grades 3–8 (various clubs have different grade levels) as a vital part of our educational community—fostering faith, confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships.
